“…but Jesus answered him, saying, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”’” — Luke 4:4 (NKJV)
Everywhere you go, Christians are easy to find, but not all of them follow the constitution. In other words, many believers do not truly follow the Scriptures, which explains why the devil still oppresses so many Christians today. Beloved, you must make up your mind to be a Christian who follows the constitutions of the kingdom in your walk with God. Every nation or kingdom has a established constitution for its citizens to live by. Those who live by these laws always have a wonderful story to tell because their rights remain reserved, and nobody can rob them of those rights.
In the same way, the kingdom of God has a constitution, which is the Bible. God expects every Christian to know these laws and live by them because they contain the keys to liberty, exploits, and success. Unfortunately, many believers are unaware of this truth, so they still live according to worldly principles. It ought not to be so.
You must understand that to live an authentic Christian life and achieve the results God has promised, you need to be an ardent follower of the constitution He handed over to us. When you follow this constitution, there is no telling what kind of success you will achieve because it contains the secrets to all success in this world. What makes others cry or feel depressed will not affect you because you know better.
That is why God told Joshua when He commissioned him, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” — Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) Now, what will you do with this information? You must choose to take this counsel and follow the constitution with diligence.
Today’s Rhema
A Christian who does not follow the constitution of the kingdom will walk in spiritual error and face much oppression!
Prayer
I declare that henceforth the constitution of the kingdom is a must in my life. I will know it, meditate on it, and live by it all the days of my life. I know that as I do so, I will move upward and forward in the name of Jesus. Amen!
