Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another. —Romans 12:10 (GNT)

As a Christian, one of the things that proves your maturity is your ability to accommodate people. You will meet lots of individuals on your journey through life. Some will offend you or take advantage of you, while others may push you to the wall or even treat you with disdain. When you face these situations, how do you handle them?

Do you respond in anger or in love? Do you get physical, or do you handle the matter with maturity? The latter should always be the case because that is exactly how God wants you to respond. Sadly, many believers do not respond with maturity or love. Instead, they vent their anger, exchange harsh words, and in most cases, turn that person into an enemy. While this may feel like a justified reaction at the time, the truth remains that it is not God’s way.

Beloved, God wants us to be accommodating. Even when dealing with the flaws of others, you should be able to manage them, pray for them, and maintain a good relationship. Why? Because people are not perfect. Sometimes we place high expectations on others, but we cannot ignore the fact that humanity is flawed.

Therefore, it is in our best interest to learn to overlook these imperfections and still love people. This ensures that the purpose for which God brought them into our lives can be fulfilled. I encourage you today to learn how to manage your relationships.

The Bible says, Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another. —Romans 12:10 (GNT). Furthermore, the Scripture instructs us: If someone has done you wrong, do not repay him with a wrong. Try to do what everyone considers to be good. Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody. —Romans 12:17-18 (GNT).

Did you see that? Whatever the case, Do not let evil defeat you; instead, conquer evil with good. —Romans 12:21 (GNT). Praise God!
