There is nothing as satisfying as the feeling of a job well done—the pure joy of success and victory. It brightens the soul and adds a glow to your personality. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we all achieved every dream in our hearts, especially the ones that have proven the most difficult? For this to happen, you must be a go-getter. When challenges spring up, do not be surprised or act as though they are strange; instead, confront them head-on. Most times, people give up too soon when faced with a challenge because they are not goal-getters. They quit because giving up is the easiest and quickest thing to do in the face of adversity.
However, running away from the truth and giving up on your plans is never the right choice, especially when your mind tells you it is your only option. That is not a good place to be. There have been cases where husbands walk away from their marriages when they feel they have had enough, and wives do the same. Many give up on their dreams when they feel they have tried everything. What they fail to realize is that giving up does not solve anything. If you quit once, you will find yourself quitting repeatedly until it becomes a habit. Ultimately, this is not God’s plan for our lives.
Every believer should be a go-getter, not a quitter. In life, you will face challenging situations, but you must not be tempted to give up. Instead, confront them with the sole intention of winning, holding on, and never turning back. A go-getter has certain characteristics that we must all learn to cultivate. They possess the trait of unwavering focus. They keep their eyes on the desired goal, the satisfaction of achieving it, and the joy that winning brings.
Furthermore, a true go-getter does not pay attention to rising opposition, nor do they entertain the thought of failure. The Bible declares, “Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” —Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NIV). This means that no matter the direction of the wind, you must stay on the path that leads to your destination. If you wait for perfect conditions, you may never move forward. So, get up and start chasing your goals with a winning mentality!

Precious Father, You are great and greatly to be praised. Thank You for giving me the attitude of a winner rather than a loser. Thank You for placing within me the ability that always leads to victory and success. I declare that I will take advantage of my ability to focus, and I will use it to achieve my dreams.
