“For by wise counsel you will wage your own war…” —Proverbs 24:6 (NKJV)

What do I do now? Where do I go from here? What steps should I take to overcome this issue? People frequently ask these questions when navigating severe difficulties because they genuinely do not know what to do. In their search for answers, their circumstances can spiral out of control, leading to costly mistakes or overwhelming despair. However, things should never reach a point where you feel completely powerless.

You must strive to remain composed during difficult times, as maintaining clarity is essential for securing victory. To achieve this, make a conscious decision to seek wise counsel. Godly advice makes it much easier to overcome any challenge that confronts you. Unfortunately, many people ignore counsel, assuming it will not improve their situation. That is simply a deception from the enemy designed to keep them bound.

As our opening scripture states, “…by wise counsel you will wage your own war…” —Proverbs 24:6 (NKJV). This reveals that to withstand trials, you must arm yourself with the right counsel, because that is where the wisdom to conquer resides. Therefore, I encourage you to seek godly counsel whenever you face situations that threaten your peace. Turn to mature spiritual leaders and receive guidance from them.

Furthermore, immerse yourself in studying God’s Word, knowing that the Holy Spirit guides you as you meditate on Scripture. I have repeatedly received answers, guidance, and direction through biblical meditation, and you can experience the same. Praise God!
