“And God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ And He said, ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”’” —Exodus 3:14 (NKJV)
When I tried to define God in my heart and truly know who He is, I realized He is everything my mind could possibly imagine—and so much more. I discovered that the world and all its needs are too small to fully capture who God is or what He is about. As I searched for a place where I would not find Him, I realized it was impossible. I found God in everything and everywhere.
The very air we breathe belongs to God and was breathed into us by Him. The food we eat and everything created in this world are all His. The apostle John declared, “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” —John 1:3 (NKJV). From this scripture, I realized that God is in everything, and nothing exists that does not reflect His glory.
God is indeed who He says He is, and He can be whatever you need Him to be. He can be anything and everything to you. Therefore, walk with God in this consciousness, knowing that He is present in all things. He is able to do everything you desire, but you must first believe that He is God and trust that He will be whoever you declare Him to be in your life.
Today’s Rhema
God is and will always be who He is. The only question is, who do you think He is? Think about this today!
Prayer
You are God from beginning to end, and there is no arguing that You are God all by Yourself. No man can contend with You. I declare that You are exactly who You say You are. Praise God!
