“for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day…” —Ephesians 6:12–13 (NKJV)
As a Christian, you must accept the reality that life is spiritual. Forces operate against you that you must stand up to every day of your life. Recognizing this truth helps you walk in the victory that Jesus made available for us through His finished work. If you remain ignorant of these spiritual forces, they can manipulate you and rob you of the blessings God has freely given you in Christ Jesus. Therefore, live each day aware that you have a battle to fight.
Refuse to settle into complacency or assume that everything is fine when it is not. You maintain peace by staying alert and actively taking the steps needed to keep the enemy’s influence at bay. Forces continuously work day and night to hinder your success and keep you from enjoying your inheritance in Christ Jesus.
This is why the Apostle Paul wrote, “…we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places…” —Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV). These forces oppose us whether we acknowledge them or not, working tirelessly to frustrate our lives. However, they will not succeed. As Paul instructs, you must “…take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day…” —Ephesians 6:13 (NKJV).
Equip your mind today with this understanding. While unseen forces attempt to pull you down, you should never fear them. The purpose of this message is not to make you fearful, but to keep you alert and prepared at all times so you can stand firm in Christ Jesus.
The enemy only wins when you remain ignorant of his schemes. Once you recognize his tactics, he loses his power because Jesus has made us victors through His blood. Put on the whole armor of God and fight the good fight of faith. You are fighting to protect what is rightfully yours so that you can fully enjoy everything God has provided in Christ Jesus. Praise God!
Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day
Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Therefore, no matter what forces rise against me, I win in all things and walk in the fullness of my inheritance in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
