“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” —John 10:9 (NKJV)
In our opening text, Jesus communicates a profound truth I want to bring to your attention, so you can fully grasp and run with it. He explains that whoever enters through Him will not only be saved but will also receive Him as their ultimate provision. The person who enters through Jesus will not lack anything; they will have everything they need. They become completely different from everyone else who has not yet entered that door. While many in the world will go out and find nothing, you will surely find pasture because Jesus has promised it.
Jesus will not say something that does not work. If He has spoken it, that is exactly how it is; His word cannot be changed or negotiated. When He spoke these words, He wasn’t making a suggestion, but a solemn declaration. All you need to do is believe it and start living in its reality. Make up your mind to stay conscious of this truth and let it take priority in your life.
On the day you gave your life to Christ, you not only made Jesus your Lord, but you also made Him your Provider. Do not allow difficult situations or anyone else to make you think otherwise. Sometimes, things might look rough and tough on the outside, but do not give in to those circumstances because they do not change the truth. Simply choose to see Jesus as your Provider, and He will be exactly that for you.
Jesus specifically said that you will go in and out and find pasture because He knew a time would come when many would struggle to find anything. He spoke this truth ahead of time so that when this difficult season arrives—which is now—you can navigate it victoriously. Therefore, stay conscious of this reality. Whatever hardship exists in the world is certainly not meant for you. As a born-again believer, you are different, regardless of the conditions around you. Put your trust in Him, see Him as your provision, and that is exactly what you will experience. Praise God!

In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I do not lack any good thing in life. I reject poverty with all vehemence. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I find pasture. I don’t struggle for it; I just find it because Jesus is my provision, and I have a godly heritage. Praise God!
