“…And of His fullness, we have all received, and grace for grace…”
— John 1:16 (NKJV)
There is a divine grace and majesty that comes from God, surpassing anything the kings of the earth possess. Earthly kings have their own kind of authority, yet it pales in comparison to the glory of our King—Jesus Christ, who is rightly called the “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” (Revelation 19:16 NKJV). His name inspires reverence and awe among earthly rulers, who bow their knees in worship and seek His guidance in their prayers. Even King Solomon, renowned for his wisdom, sought the Lord and was blessed with wisdom and understanding far beyond measure (2 Chronicles 1:11).
The incredible truth is this: everything that belongs to Jesus has been made available to His church. And who is the church? Those who have united their spirits with the Lord and confessed Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This means that if you belong to Christ, you have received His fullness—His grace, His majesty, and the very essence of what makes Him who He is.
The scripture declares that those baptized into His death and raised with Him (Romans 6:4) have been empowered to function just as He did. You have access to His healing power, His divine wisdom, and His authority to teach and interpret scripture. You carry His boldness, beauty, and strength. You have been elevated to sit with Him on His throne, far above all timidity or fear.
So, what will you do with this abundant grace and majesty? Use it! There are no limitations for believers in exercising the gifts Jesus has made available. Walk confidently in His beauty, glory, splendor, power, and grace. Live out His majesty in every area of your life. Amen!
