“Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.”
— Psalms 55:17 (NKJV)
Beloved, have you reached a point where you feel like giving up on God? Don’t! That is not the way of the Kingdom. The enemy will push you to the wall, tempting you to lose hope. But resist the urge to give in. When you give up on God, you forsake the mercy available to you, and your chances of overcoming your challenges diminish.
Instead, hold tightly to God, no matter the circumstances. Be like the Psalmist, who declared, “Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice” (Psalms 55:17 NKJV). Despite his challenges, the Psalmist confidently trusted in God’s faithfulness. His trust was rewarded, as he later testified, “He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me” (Psalms 55:18 NKJV).
Take courage and commit yourself fully to God, praying with unwavering faith. Don’t seek excuses to give up as some do today. If your prayers seem unanswered, press deeper into God’s presence instead of drifting away. Avoid seeking quick fixes. Remember, any solution you don’t receive from God is not genuine and won’t last. Trusting in alternatives outside of God only leads to disappointment.
So, remain steadfast in faith and fight the good fight. Stick with God, and you will undoubtedly see your breakthrough. Hallelujah!
