“…And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29 (NKJV)

One of the beautiful things about being in Christ Jesus is that you are an heir of the same promise given to Papa Abraham. This truth might sound surprising to some, but it is the reality of who you are in Christ. Our opening scripture makes it clear: “…if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29 NKJV). This means the same blessing that rested on Papa Abraham is now actively at work in your life because you have received and accepted the finished work of Jesus. Our Lord Jesus is the connection to this promise, and through Him, you share in the inheritance.

No matter what challenges you face or situations you go through, never lose sight of this truth. You are not someone seeking a blessing; you are already blessed of God. What is left is to appropriate this blessing into your life. The first step is to live in the consciousness of this reality. What you are conscious of determines what you manifest in your life. If your focus is on lack, lack will dominate. However, when you live with a consciousness of the blessing, you will begin to experience its manifestation in every area of your life.

Be conscious that the same blessing that made Papa Abraham wealthy is upon you. It is working in you and on everything you set your hands to do. Let this awareness inspire boldness as you take steps in your life. There is something unique on you that ensures your story is different. If others are failing in certain businesses or endeavors, it does not discourage you because you know the blessing guarantees your success.

Consider the story of Isaac. In his time, famine made water a scarce and valuable commodity. Yet, the Bible records that whenever Isaac dug a well, he found water. Even his servants, digging in the valley, discovered a well of running water (Genesis 26:19-22). This was not mere coincidence—it was the blessing in action.

This same blessing ensures that your case will always be different. If others are not being offered jobs, the blessing on you will make a way. If contracts are not being given out, you can be assured your case will stand apart. The blessing is your inheritance in Christ Jesus. It sets you apart and brings favor and abundance into your life. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day

Thank you, heavenly Father, for this wonderful inheritance you have given to me in Christ Jesus. I choose this day to dwell in its reality now and all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
