“…So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” Galatians 3:9 (NKJV)

Having understood that we are heirs according to the promise, it is important to recognize that faith is the key to unlocking the reality of this blessing. Without faith, even though you are an heir, you may still live far beneath the fullness of this promise. The Bible says, “…those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham…” (Galatians 3:9 NKJV). Faith is the force that activates the blessing and makes it produce results in your life.

You must make a conscious effort to keep your faith alive and active to experience the full benefits of this blessing. But why is faith so critical in activating the blessing? First, the blessing is both spiritual and physical. It is the spiritual promise that births physical manifestations such as prosperity, health, and material provision. To tap into the spiritual realm where the promise resides, faith is required. Romans 4:16 explains, “…therefore, it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed…” This means faith connects you to the promise, ensuring its fulfillment in your life.

Secondly, faith is essential because life’s realities can be discouraging. You may be facing challenges like unemployment, financial lack, or stalled business opportunities. These situations can intimidate you and cause doubt about the blessing’s reality. However, if you can look beyond your present circumstances and focus on the truth of the blessing, you will gain divine insight and direction to overcome any setbacks.

Remember, no matter how overwhelming your current situation might seem, it is temporary. The Bible says, “…we do not look at the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal…” (2 Corinthians 4:18 NKJV). This truth reminds us that the eternal reality of the blessing is greater than any temporary challenge.

Activate your faith today. Be bold to take steps of faith, trusting that the blessing is already working for you. As you do this, you will see its manifestation in every area of your life. Hallelujah!
