We are living in times the Bible refers to as evil days (Ephesians 6:13). We face desperate moments where life is becoming increasingly difficult financially, morally, and otherwise. Crime and hazard rates are rising, and these pressures are enough to break anyone. However, as a child of God, you are expected to respond differently. We have a vital resource that makes things work, and that is the Word of God.
Beloved, no matter what you face in life, returning to God’s Word is essential. It is the exact solution you need to navigate difficult moments. I always rejoice knowing that Scripture addresses every situation we will ever encounter. The best way to handle life’s challenges is to seek direction from the Word. Unfortunately, not everyone truly believes this, often preferring to search for worldly solutions instead.
However, the world does not have what it takes to completely solve its own problems. Therefore, it is better to return to the source through which the world was made. The Bible declares, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God…” —Hebrews 11:3 (NKJV). This means that to solve the problems you face in this world, you must use the very material used to create it.
I encourage you today to return to the Word of God for your solutions. Do not give up on His Word, as some do, and stop searching everywhere else for answers you will not find. The Word of God should be your stronghold and your place of solace. Give attention to what it says and apply the knowledge you gain from it. Yield yourself to its counsel, and let it comfort and encourage you. If you delight yourself in the Word, it will give you all that you desire. Praise God!

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for refreshing my life with Your Word. I thank You for reassuring me that a solution can always be found in Scripture. Therefore, I declare that Your Word will be my stronghold and my source of encouragement. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
