We often hear the phrase, “see with the eyes of God,” which means we ought to learn to look at things the way God does. However, God is also inviting us to learn to think the way He thinks. It might sound strange, but we can actually adopt His thought process. Many people might not believe this is possible, but it is entirely attainable. In fact, it is the key to a life of excellence and fulfillment. Thinking like God ultimately means possessing His mindset, which is the best thing that can happen to anyone.
When you begin to think with the mind of God, you stop thinking like mere men and start operating from a higher realm. You no longer judge or condemn people. Instead of harboring evil thoughts toward them, your mind becomes filled with peace. Even when others offend you, retaliation does not cross your mind; your immediate response is love and grace. As you adopt this lifestyle, you will be amazed at how your life transforms, simply because you are living from a higher perspective.
I encourage you to discipline yourself to think with the mind of God. Refuse to think like an ordinary person, because you are a new creation in Christ Jesus and you possess the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). You might wonder how to achieve this or how to discover God’s mind. The answer lies in the Word of God, which reveals His heart and His thoughts. By studying His Word, you will uncover His mind and naturally begin to think the way He thinks. Praise God!
