Our opening scripture reveals how Peter and John returned to their companions after being threatened and commanded to stop teaching in the name of Jesus. The remarkable thing here is that the apostles were not alone. They had companions who shared their beliefs and were ready to stand together in prayer against this threat. When they reported the matter to their group, they were not perturbed. Instead, they all joined hands and presented the situation before the throne of grace.
Together they found strength, and what was supposed to be a major problem was immediately handled in prayer as a group. This shows us the vital importance of having companions and being part of a group within the church. When you are involved with people who share your faith and vision, they become a source of profound strength and encouragement. No matter what challenges you face in your workplace, family, or personal life, they will be there to join their faith with yours. They will stand by you and help ensure your physical and spiritual needs are met.
This is why serving in a church department or joining a fellowship is so crucial. These groups represent the companions we are talking about, and by working together, you can achieve so much more. Therefore, I encourage you to do more than just attend church; get actively involved in a service group or fellowship. Join the men’s or women’s ministry, or become part of the singles or married couples fellowship. When you participate and remain active within a group, you will enjoy the beautiful blessings that come from it. Praise God!

No matter the threat you face in your workplace, family, or life in general, if you belong to a group in the church, they will help you, comfort you, strengthen you, and sharpen your faith!

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for this wonderful teaching. I choose this day not only to be in church but to join relevant groups that will help my spiritual growth and faith walk, in Jesus’ name. I declare that as I do this, I am walking in victory, purpose, and dominion. Nothing will intimidate me or take advantage of me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
