“He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.” —Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NKJV)

As the year rapidly comes to a close, it is important to put some things into perspective. One of those things is taking action. Beloved, if you want to achieve anything before the year ends, it won’t happen just by wishing for it or having good intentions. It can only happen by actively working toward your goals. The actions you take now will determine what you enjoy and achieve this year, so you must be willing to pursue that dream.

I have come to understand that dreams don’t fulfill themselves. They need a driving force to come to fruition, and you are that force. The earlier you recognize this, the better it will be for you. Don’t be tricked into procrastination or give in to excuses. Stop waiting for the perfect moment to do what you are supposed to do, because there will never be a better time than now.

I encourage you to get to work and take advantage of today. Take action now and don’t put off your goals until tomorrow. You might say, “But I don’t have everything I need to make the right moves, so how do I take action?” I understand that feeling, but the truth remains that what you have right now is enough to take the first step.

When you move forward, everything else will fall into place. If you wait until you have everything figured out, you may never begin. The resources you need most often come only after you step out with what you already have. Therefore, just start now, and the rest will follow. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

When you take action today with what you have, all you need will eventually be supplied, so don’t wait!

Prayer

Father, thank you for reminding me of this important truth. I refuse to wait any longer. I am taking the necessary actions now, and as I do, I ask for the grace, zeal, and inspiration needed to keep going, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
