“Then the Lord said to Satan, ‘Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?’” — Job 1:8 (NKJV)
You may be a Christian who claims to love God more than anything or anyone else in this world. However, does God truly feel the love you claim to have for Him? Love is visible, tangible, contagious, communicable, and generous. Anyone can feel love when it is genuinely expressed. Is your love for God visible to Him, and is it on fire?
Can your neighbor see your devotion and crave that same relationship with Him? God always knows if you truly love Him and whether you are willing to do anything for His kingdom. We see a perfect example of this when God bragged about Job. Job made his relationship with God wonderfully clear through his actions. God called him a blameless and upright man (Job 1:8), knowing that Job held a deep reverence for the Lord.
Has it ever crossed your mind that the way you present yourself shapes God’s opinion of you? Are you a blameless and upright person before Him? Do you actively encourage good and shun evil? Can God see a genuine reverence for Him in your daily life? Ultimately, I am asking: can God brag about you?
Can God speak about you the way He spoke about Job? If your answer is no, it is time to rethink and transform your relationship with Him. You might think God does not care about the details, but He deeply does. Every child of God should cultivate a relationship with Him that He can proudly commend.
Are you truly aware that God wants to be able to praise you? He wants to look at your life and commend you for a job well done. He desires to brag about your name, your character, and be proud of who you are. How do you make this happen?
Pray daily, respect God’s presence, and honor the things that concern Him. Be generous to His work, give attention to His kingdom, and render your services to Him as often as you can. As you do this, I pray the Lord will see your good works, accept them, and honor them in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Prayer
Father, I thank You for choosing me and setting me apart. I thank You for giving me the power to be Your child. Today, I choose to take my relationship with You seriously. I choose to express my love for You committedly and consistently. As I do so, I decree that I am established in Your love, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
