“…they are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God’s power for the salvation which is ready to be revealed at the end of time…” 1 Peter 1:5 (NKJV)
One thing that our God is still very good at is keeping you safe from all evil that the enemy has planned for you. As a matter of fact, He has made sure He fulfilled this responsibility towards you from childhood until now that you are fully grown. But you see, to continue enjoying this grace, you must learn to walk in faith and not fear. Something I have discovered over time is that many people want to be protected but they are not willing to put their faith in God for this. They truly want to see the deliverance of God, but they are not willing to actually trust God for this. Instead, they are halting between two opinions, which shouldn’t be the case.
If you truly want to see God’s protection, manifest in your life, you must learn to unleash your faith both in actions and words. You know the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men were faced with a life-threatening situation and one would expect that they would break under the pressure but they did not. Instead, they did something I would like to bring up here. They said, “….“Your Majesty, we will not try to defend ourselves. If the God whom we serve is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your power, then he will. But even if he doesn’t, Your Majesty may be sure that we will not worship your god, and we will not bow down to the gold statue that you have set up…” Daniel 3:16-18 (GNT). Did you see that? They spoke up in faith and you know the rest of the story. They were thrown into the fire but the fire had no power over them. God came through for them. Beloved, learn to put your faith in God at all times and you will see God manifest in several different ways. Praise God!
