You Are a Seed

And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” (Genesis 1:22 NKJV)

Do you know that you are a seed? In case you didn’t know, I’m telling you now—you are a seed, and contained within you is the potential not just for a single fruit-bearing tree, but for an entire forest. While this might sound too good to be true, it’s God’s truth for you.

Consider an orange seed it is so small and seemingly insignificant. However, as small as that seed may appear, it contains the blueprint for trees with roots, branches, and potentially hundreds of oranges, each containing multiple seeds within it.

Once that tiny seed encounters the right environment and the proper conditions for germination, it begins its transformation. It starts to sprout, blossom, and eventually bear abundant fruit. In the very same way that the orange seed is intrinsically wired to produce fruit, you, Beloved, are also wired by your Creator to be fruitful.

When God created you and brought you into this world, He brought you as a seed. He intentionally placed within you everything required to become a flourishing, fruit-bearing tree. Your part is simply to connect with the right environment and the necessary conditions for bearing fruit. Once you make that contact, you will begin to produce fruit.

Sadly, the challenge today is that many people either don’t know this truth or struggle to believe it. As a result, they live far below the potential God ordained for them. Many even go through their entire lives and eventually pass on without bearing even a fraction of the fruit they were meant to produce. Why does this happen? Often, it’s simply due to ignorance.

But today, knowledge and understanding have come to you! Remember this: You are a seed, and you possess all it takes to become incredibly fruitful in your life. Your responsibility now is to believe this truth deep within your spirit. Begin to actively channel your energy, your time, and your focus in directions that will help you germinate and bear abundant fruit.

How? Expose yourself intentionally to the right messages – words that build faith and reveal potential. Surround yourself with the right people – those who encourage growth and speak life. Place yourself in the right environment – places where your God-given gifts can flourish. Do this, and watch expectantly as your vast potential begins to manifest. So, like God commanded, “…be fruitful and multiply…” (Genesis 1:22 NKJV)

Today’s Rhema

Like a seed, you’ve been wired to bear fruit.

Confession for the day

Father, I thank you for blessing me with this truth. I believe it, and I choose to walk in the consciousness of it. As I do, I am bearing fruit like never before, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
