“…then all the congregation raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night…” Numbers 14:1 (NKJV)

Beloved, as you journey in your Christian walk, it matters whose report you are running with. Our world today is filled with all kinds of bad reports, and if you do not take care, you will run with these reports and reap negative results. Let’s take for example, the on-going economic recession in the world. Many financial analysts and experts have predicted that the recession will only grow worse. The same applies in the health sector. There is no shortage of news about viruses and diseases that have the capacity to destroy lives en masse. But the question is, in the midst of all this, whose report will you believe? Will you believe the results of the doctors and financial analysts of our day, or will you believe the reports of God? Well, as a believer, make up your mind to believe God’s report. Our Lord Jesus Christ made it clear, when He said, It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ “ Matthew 4:4 (NKJV)

It is important to understand that God’s word is His opinion and final say concerning matters of this life. While it is true that the world is plunging into more recession, that is not for the child of God, because though you are in this world, you hail from another kingdom, which is the kingdom of God. And in this kingdom, there is no such thing as a recession. Your responsibility is to believe in this truth and hold on tenaciously to the realities of the kingdom of God, where you are a citizen. The carnal mind would say, “Let us face the reality; there is indeed a recession in the world, and it is affecting everybody adversely.” Well, we are not disputing the fact that that is the current reality, but the idea here is that you do not allow the world to dictate your reality. God’s word remains true and should be your reality. When God’s word is your reality, it doesn’t matter what is going on in the world; you will get the results that the word of God talks about. Therefore, I encourage you today to ignore every report out there and embrace only God’s report for your life, career, marriage, and destiny. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

God’s word is truth and should be the report you ought to live by!

Confession for the Day

Glorious and ever-living Father, I thank you for this wonderful revelation. I choose this day to believe only what your word says. It is the only report I will believe and run it and I know that as I build my life with this truth, it shall indeed turn everything around for me in the name of Jesus. Amen!
