“The Lord says, ‘I will bring you lasting prosperity; the wealth of the nations will flow to you like a river that never goes dry. You will be like a child that is nursed by its mother, carried in her arms, and treated with love. I will comfort you in Jerusalem, as a mother comforts her child. When you see this happen, you will be glad; it will make you strong and healthy. Then you will know that I, the Lord, help those who obey me, and I show my anger against my enemies.’” — Isaiah 66:12-14 (GNT)
In today’s world, a growing number of people believe that God no longer makes people wealthy. They argue that wealth today is purely the result of hard work, hustle, and smart strategies. While there is some truth to this, it’s only half of the equation. What truly makes our efforts fruitful is grace—and grace comes only from God.
The deeper question is this: Do you still believe that God gives this kind of grace? Sadly, many no longer do. Instead, countless people—especially youths—are turning to questionable or even diabolical means in pursuit of quick wealth. The tragic result? Many have ruined their lives in the process. But the truth remains: real wealth comes from the Lord. And it flows when we believe in Him, align with His purpose, and trust in His power.
Hard work is important. So is smart work. But ultimately, as the Apostle Paul said, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6 NKJV). Without God’s increase, all effort is limited. So don’t fall for the lie that you’re the sole architect of your success. Trust in the Lord to bless the work of your hands. Remember, He prospered Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and your case will not be different.
Stay away from dishonest or shady means of making money. As the Scripture warns, “The person who gets money dishonestly is like a bird that hatches eggs it didn’t lay. In the prime of life he will lose his riches, and in the end he is nothing but a fool” (Jeremiah 17:11 GNT). Choose instead to wait on the Lord and do things His way. Wealth that comes from God adds no sorrow with it.

Confession for the Day
Father, I am grateful for this timely message. I believe that You still bring wealth and prosperity to Your people. I receive the grace to walk in alignment with Your purpose, and I declare that the portion You’ve assigned to me is coming to me and will not pass me by, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
