“…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings…” Philippians 3:10 (NKJV)
Having established the need to know our Lord Jesus Christ more in the previous article, someone might say but why is this important? Well, it is important because without getting to know Jesus, you cannot live the authentic Christian life and most importantly, you will lose sight of who you truly are. In other words, knowing Jesus Christ is knowing who you truly are in Him for it is written, “as He is, so are we in this world…” 1 John 4:17 (NKJV) Discover Him and discover yourself in Him.
You might now say, but sir, how do I get to know Him? What should I do to know Him? It’s simple, depend on the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus more to you and study the word of God, because He is the word that became flesh and dwelt amongst us (John 1:14). When you study God’s word, you receive deeper revelation of Him and this helps you to know Him better and walk with Him better. Your knowledge of Him will help you reduce your errors and increase the fruits of your righteousness. It will open up supernatural doors for you and help you to walk in the miraculous every day of your life. It will help you to have a fruitful and glorious walk with God. So what are you waiting for? Get to the word, and discover Him so that you can discover yourself. Praise God!

As Jesus is so am I in this world, therefore my craving to know Him more and discover His true personality is increasing by the day and by the grace of the Almighty God, I grow in the knowledge of Him and walk in victory now and all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
