“…let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good deeds…” Psalms 107:8-9 (NKJV)
Sometimes, when you take a look at the way most Christians handle their difficult times, the only question you might want to ask them is, has God not been faithful? Why? Because they magnify their problems and make it look as though God has not done anything in their lives. You see them looking discouraged without any zeal or enthusiasm for life. They make it look as though the world has come to an end in their lives, meanwhile this is something they could handle more maturely and nobody will know they are going through anything in their lives. But that is not the case, they want the whole world to know. Interestingly, when you speak about this, they get offended because they feel you don’t understand what they are going through, unknown to them that there are many people out there who are going through far worse conditions than they are.
Beloved, God does not want us to respond to our situations like this because it connotes spiritual immaturity. You must understand that as a mature Christian or a matured child of God, there is a way to respond to matters. You don’t put it on your face so that the whole world should know that you are going through some stuff. Remember, no matter how you do that, you will not be rewarded for it nor will it bring the solution. Instead, change your approach and respond maturely. The Bible says, “…you therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ…” and in James 1:2, it says “count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing…”Did you see that? So stop magnifying your problems and start counting your blessings. Acknowledge God’s involvement in your life and start praising him for it. Ascribe all the glory to Him because He deserves it. Proclaim His faithfulness in your life and watch your life move from glory to glory. Praise God!

Confession for the Day
Glorious father, I acknowledge your involvement in my life and I refuse to allow my situation to take the glory that should be ascribed to you. Therefore, I will continually speak of your faithfulness and proclaim your kindness both in my words and in my actions in Jesus name. Amen!
