“…and I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws…” Genesis 26:4-5 (NKJV)
Sometimes, we want to see the word of God come to pass in our lives, we want to see the word of God produce a massive result in our lives, but the problem a lot of times, is that when the word of God comes to us, we do not believe or take it seriously. And yet we want to see results. Well, it will not happen because one of the key things that activate the Word in the lives of men is their belief system. Until you choose to believe the word of God for you, you cannot see it manifest the results it talks about in your life.
In our opening text, we see that Isaac had an encounter where God told him He would bless him and make his descendants multiply. Now, after that encounter, the Bible recorded that Isaac sowed in that land and in the same year, he reaped a hundredfold harvest and the Lord blessed him (Genesis 26:12). As a matter of fact the Bible recorded that “…the man began to prosper, and continued to prosper until he became very prosperous…” Genesis 26:13 (NKJV). Why did this happen? It was because Isaac believed the word of God and acted on the word he believed. You too can get massive results like this, if you would believe God’s word for you and act on it. Most people today, only receive the word of God but do not believe it or receive it with faith, so it produces no results in their lives. The Bible tells us of how the Israelites received the word of God but it did them no good because they did not mix it with faith. The Bible says “…the Gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it…” Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV). Did you see that? Beloved, if you want God’s word to be of profit to you in different ways, it is advised that you receive God’s word in faith like Isaac did and act on it. Praise God!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
By the power of the Holy Spirit, I decree that the grace to receive God’s word in faith and act on it is at work in me and as I believe the word of God for my life at different points, I am walking in the results that the word of God produces in the name of Jesus. Amen!
