“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2 NKJV)
Our opening text say, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2 NKJV). This means the law of sin and death no longer has legal grounds over our lives as believers. But the crucial question then becomes: how do you activate this resurrection power in your daily life? Because it’s one thing to be legally set free, and another thing entirely to activate this reality so that you can experience its benefits (“eat the fruit of it”). Well, it’s straightforward! There are three key things that must be done.
First, you must genuinely believe in Jesus as the Son of God and believe that when He died, He was raised back to life by God the Father. The Bible clearly states, “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 NKJV). As simple as this might sound, it holds the fundamental key to activating the resurrection power in your life. So, your belief in our Lord Jesus Christ must be genuine and unwavering. Refuse to be among those who believe today and doubt tomorrow. Be resolute in your belief and choose to stand firmly by it. Refuse to let anyone convince you otherwise.
Secondly, you must give voice to what you believe. In other words, you activate the resurrection power through your spoken words. Declare that this power is functioning in your life, and expect it to become reality. Spiritual realities are often activated by words spoken in faith; therefore, speak! As the scripture says, The scripture says, “I spoke because I believed.” In the same spirit of faith we also speak because we believe. (2 Corinthians 4:13 GNT). So, speak the words aligned with God’s truth, and the resurrection power will be activated.
Finally, have unwavering faith in your declaration. Sometimes people say things they don’t truly mean, and the words end up being ineffective or careless. However, when you seek to activate the resurrection power, you must mean what you say and say what you mean. Mix your declarations with genuine faith, and the power will be released. I encourage you today to take these deliberate steps and activate the resurrection power in your health, finances, job, family, and all that concerns you. Praise God!

I believe in Jesus and in His finished work for me. I believe that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Therefore, I declare that the resurrection power is at work in my life, bringing to life all that needs to be brought to life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
