“Take your son,” God said, “your only son, Isaac, whom you love so much, and go to the land of Moriah. There on a mountain that I will show you, offer him as a sacrifice to me…” Genesis 22:2 (GNT)

For many years, I have come across men and women who want God to go an extra mile for them and bless them mightily but they are not willing to go an extra mile for God. They are not willing to win souls, serve in the house of God or even give lavishly to God. When they don’t see the results that they want to see, they conclude that God is not fair while some others conclude that God is not willing to help them which is not true.

Beloved, you must understand that God cannot be mocked. The Bible clearly says “do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. You will reap exactly what you plant” (Galatians 6:7 GNT). Did you see that? Meaning, it is your Input in the things of God that determines the results you will get. It is the extent to which you are willing to go for God, that determines the extent to which God will go for you. Remember, God has already gone the extra mile by sending His son Jesus Christ to die for you and through this extra mile, a foundation for victory has been laid for you and that is the general grace we all enjoy today in Christ Jesus. But you see, if you are going to access  greater grace, where you begin to enjoy God’s provisions, protection, fruitfulness and the others, you must learn to go the extra mile for God and you must do this, in prayers, fasting, giving your substance, rendering your service to God and you will be amazed what God will begin to do your life as well. Halleluiah!

Today’s Rhema

The extent to which you are willing to go for God determines the extent to which God will go for you!

Confession for the Day
