“…So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified…” Acts 20:32 (NKJV)

As you journey into the new year, you must make a conscious decision to give priority to the word of God. The word of God will help to set you on the right course. It will help to give you the right mindset and motivation required to achieve your dreams. Therefore, take God’s word seriously and let it become your stronghold and standard in the days to come.

Someone might ask, what is it about the word of God that we should give it priority? Well, the Bible says, “…In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made…” John 1:1‭-3 (NKJV). Meaning, everything you see today in this world was created by the word of God. Everything you see today is sustained by the word of God. The stars, the moon, the sky and everything on earth were created, and are sustained by the word of God. Therefore, if anything will be created or sustained in your life, it has to be by the word of God. So I urge you today to give the word of God the highest priority in your life. Make time to study and meditate on it and trust me, God will minister to you regularly through His word. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Everything you see in the world today was created and sustained by the word of God, if you want to create or sustain anything in your life, use the word!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this glorious light you have brought to my Spirit.  I make a commitment today to stick to your word and to make it a standard and a final authority now and all the days in my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
