“…while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion….” Hebrews 3:15 (NKJV)

As believers one of the greatest gifts God has given to us, is the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “…I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever…” John 14:10‭, ‬16(NKJV). Now, the reason the Holy Spirit was given to us is so that He can guide us, direct us, instruct us, and keep us on the path we should go. He has a full-time ministry to fulfill in our lives and the only way you can take advantage of this ministry is to be fully yielded to the Holy Spirit. As a matter of fact, without the Holy Spirit, we cannot really live the authentic Christian life. Without the Holy Spirit, we will not be able to defeat the agenda of the wicked and achieve the things God has destined for us to achieve. But the question is, how much are you yielded to the Holy Spirit? Without your ability to yield, it is difficult for the Holy Spirit to help you or lead you.

Therefore, it is important that as you continue your walk with God, you make a conscious decision to yield yourself completely to the Holy Spirit. At first, it may not be easy, but as you continue to yield yourself to Him and His instructions for you, it gets easier. So be encouraged today to become fully yielded to the Holy Spirit. Refuse to be stubborn or rebellious towards Him. Remember, His presence in your life is to help you win and not to make you lose. Refuse anything that would make you rebellious to the Holy Spirit and when you take these precautions, His ministry in your life begins to grow and flourish in your life and you will watch your life move from glory to glory!

Today’s Rhema

When you are fully yielded to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, it will change everything about you and give you a purpose!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this eye-opening article. I declare that every seed of rebellion in me is uprooted, and I receive grace to become fully yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. Amen!
