In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. —Ephesians 3:12 (NKJV)
Sometimes, when you attempt to put your faith to work, the enemy tries to convince you that being a Christian is a waste of your time and energy. He wants you to believe that you lack access to God or the right standing to ask Him for anything. However, this is certainly not true. As a believer, you must understand that your time with the Father is never wasted. You must be fully convinced of this, or the enemy will try to fill your mind with doubt.
You might ask, “How can I be certain of this?” When Jesus paid the ultimate price on the cross of Calvary, it was not a symbolic gesture; it was a reality. He did it specifically in your name. Since you have received Him into your life, you now possess direct access to God and a righteous standing before Him. This guarantees that your relationship with the Father is meaningful and powerful.
The Scripture confirms that …because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear)… —Ephesians 3:12 (AMPC). This boldness allows you to approach the throne of grace with complete assurance.
Be confident in your walk with God, knowing that you are never wasting time by living out your faith. The enemy will attempt to plant seeds of doubt in your mind, but you must refuse to entertain them. Instead, use your knowledge of the Scriptures to refute his lies and move forward with your life. You have an irrevocable access to God through your union with Christ. Hallelujah!
