…Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God…” Romans 13:1 (NKJV)

As a believer, are you leadable? Are you guideable? Can you be instructed by superiors and you will accept it with meekness? Can you be corrected and you will not feel offended? Are you able to follow laid-down structures? Are you loyal to leadership? For some people, these might be ridiculous questions, but the truth remains that these are questions we ought to ask ourselves to be sure if we are truly lead-able or not. Have been privileged to pastor many brethren over the years and I realized that some people are un-leadable. No matter how you try, they will always prove to you that you can’t lead them. They do not have the qualities of sheep. They argue over every instruction given to them and they are not always willing to follow the laid down principle. You will always find them opposing those that God has put over them. But the question is, is this how God wants us to live our lives? Does God want us to live our lives in rebellion? The answer is a big No.

Beloved, if you truly want to walk in the path God has ordained for you and achieve those things He has purposed for you to achieve, you must become a believer who is leadable. You must put aside pride and ego and become one who is willing to submit to authority and be trained. When you begin to live like this, you will start unlocking every good thing that God has put in your destiny. So, I encourage you today to become a believer who is leadable. I know that it is not an overnight thing, but the moment you choose to submit to authority and not be rebellious to authority, you will watch things turn around for you in every area of your life. Remember, rebellion does a man no good. In fact, the Bible says “….. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land….” Psalms 68:6 (NKJV). Did you see that? The experience of the one who is rebellious is always not a good one so avoid it. Hallelujah!

Rebellion will lead you nowhere, learn to follow and be leadable!

Confession for the Day

Your word, oh God is food for my spirit, therefore I choose to take this counsel seriously. I shun every act of rebellion and as I do this, I walk in the grace to be a faithful follower in Jesus name. Amen!
