“Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion” — Hebrews 3:15 (NKJV)

As we discussed in the first part of this message, it’s crucial to take God’s call upon your life seriously and respond to it. You can’t keep running—it will do you no good. The truth remains that if you continue to run, you are forsaking your mercy, provision, and protection, because that is what your calling represents.

Your calling is your mercy, your provision, and your protection. When you run from it, you expose yourself to a life of obscurity and danger. The Bible gives us the account of a man named Jonah, whom God sent to deliver His message to Nineveh. But instead of obeying, Jonah chose to go in the opposite direction.

Because of his disobedience, he ended up in the belly of a great fish for three days and nights (Jonah 1:17, NKJV). As well-known as this story is, many people fail to take it seriously and learn from it. They dismiss it as just another Bible story. But guess what? It was a real event—so important that an entire book of the Bible was dedicated to it, emphasizing the significance of answering God’s call.

So, I encourage you today: stop running and say yes to God. I don’t know what God has been speaking to you about, but one thing is certain—when you say yes to Him, you qualify yourself for the next level of His plan for your life. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

Running from God’s call is forsaking your mercy, provision, and protection!

Confession for the Day

Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for revealing to me how delicate and important Your call is for my promotion. Therefore, I say yes to Your will and Your ways today. I refuse to run any longer, and I embrace Your plan for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
