“…above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it…” Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)

Beloved, do you know that a man’s greatest asset is his heart, that is, his will to get things done? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. Contrary to what people think, a man’s strength is not in his bones but in his heart. The heart of a man is where energy, strength and will flows from. A man that would defeat all opposition standing against him, must first defeat the opposition in his heart before he can physically defeat the enemy on the outside. In other words, victory or failure begins from the heart. The games you will win, the strategies that will work, the strength you will display in all the things or circumstances surrounding you will always begin in your heart. Therefore, if all you perceive in your heart is defeat, then defeat is not far from you. But if all you can see in your heart is success, then success will walk through the door to you. I know this might sound ridiculous but it is true. Sadly, not many are willing to accept it as a present hour reality.

However, if you embrace this truth, you will be amazed by how things will begin to change in your life. In Romans 10:10(NIV), the Bible declares, saying “…it is with the heart that man believes, and with the mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” So whether it is failure or its success, it’s what you believe in your heart that really brings in the success. It’s a fight you need to fight within yourself, a fight not to believe in defeat, a fight to stay on, a fight to keep believing that you can do better and you can achieve more. If your heart does not give up, then you can’t lose. If your heart doesn’t stop believing in possibilities, then nothing is impossible unto you. If your heart continues to see your vision, then it will come to light. Even in the midst of darkness, if your heart believes in the light it will bring forth results. So don’t give up in your heart and you will watch yourself move from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
