“…and many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt…” —Daniel 12:2
Do you know that most of the prophecies the Bible gives about the last days are already happening? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. We are living in the days of Bible prophecy. More than 80% of the prophecies about the end times are already being fulfilled, and amazingly, it is happening before our very eyes. It is obvious that the world is coming to an end, whether you believe it or not. The Bible clearly lets us know that “…the world and everything in it that people desire is passing away…” (1 John 2:15 GNB). As a matter of fact, if you are watchful and discerning, you will notice that the world grows darker and more perilous by the day. And someday, the rapture will take place, and the world will be plunged into a time of great tribulation.
The question is, What will your eternal future be? Where will you spend your eternity? As simple as these questions are, they hold a very serious truth, which you must come to terms with. Many people today don’t really think about this, so they go about their normal activities without giving thought to this question. Some have believed the lie that when they die, they will automatically go and be with God. They forget that going to be with God after life on this earth is over, is based on God’s terms, which you must fulfill here on earth. The truth remains that heaven is not for everybody, it is for only those who prepare for it. And that preparation begins here and now, while you are on earth. So live, every day of your life, understanding that eternity is real and everyone must get there. But what guarantees that you will spend your eternity with God is when you accept the sacrifice He offered for you through His son, Jesus Christ, and confess Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life. Remember, it is written, “…God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life….” John 3:16 (NKJV). So, if you are already in Christ, take your walk with Him seriously, abide in Him, and let His words abide in you (John 15:4). If you are not already in Christ, then it is never too late to receive Him as Lord. All you need to do is pray the prayer of salvation behind this book or on the website. Praise God!
