“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)
When we find ourselves in a difficult situation, it’s easy to think that we need someone else to step in and help. However, what we truly need is not the intervention of a person but God’s grace. Through my walk with God and my study of His word, I’ve discovered that the challenges we face often stem from a shortage of grace in that area. Yet, because we may not understand this, we sometimes end up seeking help from external sources who may be unable—or simply unwilling—to help.
We need to understand that grace is sufficient to overcome any challenge. If you’ve done all you know to do and still face that problem, it may be because grace hasn’t fully manifested in that situation. So what should you do? Boldly approach God’s throne of grace, seek His mercy, and wait until the grace you need is released. Once grace is released, the solutions you’ve been seeking will start to manifest swiftly. A powerful example is the story of Paul and Silas: while they were in prison, they began to pray and sing praises to God. Suddenly, there was an earthquake, and the prison doors opened—that was grace in action (see Acts 16:25-29). So, seek God’s grace, for it is all you need to transform your situation. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day
Father, I am grateful for this powerful truth. I refuse to rely on people or external sources; I choose to depend on Your grace. As I come before Your throne, I obtain mercy and find grace to use at all times, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
