“…but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak…”1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NKJV)
So often some of the people around us tend to discredit our Christianity and make it look as though we are wasting our time. They spite us and make us feel we are not qualified for the things we are proclaiming from the scripture. They look down on us and under rate us. The devil also comes with his own ministrations too and makes us believe that we are deceiving ourselves either because we are not getting the kind of results we truly want to get or because we are faced with some impossible situation. But the truth remains that irrespective of what we go through or what people say about us, it’s important to note that we have been approved of God and there is nothing anybody says that matters.
Am aware that there are people out there who just like to attack Christians and make them feel bad about their commitment to God. Am aware that there are friends out there who mock us sometimes because of the stand we have taken for God, but against all odds, it’s important that you do not allow these things to move you. Whatever opinion anybody has regarding your Christianity is not as important as the opinion God has about you. Therefore, take your eyes off whatever anybody is saying and always know that you are approved of God. And you are not only approved of God, you are also entrusted with the Gospel that saves. I mean, it can’t get any better than this. Begin to see yourself differently and be confident of your walk with God, because before Him you are approved and not only so, you are justified and glorified (Romans 8:30). So let nothing take this from you because this is who you are in Christ Jesus. Praise God!
Today’s Rhema
You are approved of God, let nobody tell you or make you feel otherwise!
Confession for the Day
I am approved of God, sanctified, justified and glorified, therefore I refuse to pay attention to nothing else but only what God says about me because His opinion about me is all that counts. And as I give attention to the things God has said about me, I am flourishing in all things in the name of Jesus. Amen!
