“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” —2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
Beloved, are you walking by faith or by sight? Are you moved by the things you see, hear, or feel, or are you moved by faith in God’s Word? I know this question might sound strange, but think about it—what is truly moving you right now? Is it faith or flesh? Most times when we speak like this, people tend to think we are fanatics, but the truth remains that, as a believer, you must be conscious of what moves you at different times. If you are not conscious of this, you will be walking by the flesh and not by faith. The flesh profits nothing; instead, it makes things worse.
Beloved, if you truly want to prevail in life and not be bullied or manipulated by the devil, you must make a conscious decision to walk by faith and not by sight. Walking by faith does not mean you deny the challenges before you; it means you refuse to let those challenges determine your mood or emotions. Faith is not a denial of facts—rather, it is refusing to grant those facts authority over you.
So, the next time you are tempted to become sad, moody, or discouraged because of what you are going through, know that you are no longer moving by faith but by sight. Instead of allowing your situation to consume you, go to God’s Word and look for the promises that address your circumstance, then take them up in prayer. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 4:6–7 (NKJV). As simple as this passage may sound, it holds the key to coming out of any situation you face. Therefore, stay in faith and refuse to be moved by sight. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day
Father, I am grateful for this wonderful truth. I refuse to be moved by sight but by faith, and as I walk the path of faith, I am prevailing over the circumstances of life and receiving multiple testimonies in Jesus’ name. Amen!
