“…then the Lord said, “I have surely seen the oppression of my people who are in Egypt, and I have surely heard their cry because of their taskmasters. For I know their sorrow…” Exodus 3:7 (NKJV)

In the first part of this article, we established the importance of inviting God into your situation and the reason we are studying this subject is because sometimes, God’s people ignorantly expect from God things that they did not ask Him for. And when their expectations do not come forth, they begin to blame God. A perfect example of this in the scriptures is the story of the children of Israel. The Bible records that “…they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh…they made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields…” Exodus 1:11,14 (NIV). But in all that they were going through, they didn’t ask God for help. They got used to the status quo and continued to suffer.

Fast-forward to Exodus 2:23-25 (AMP), the Bible says, “…after a long time (about forty years) the King of Egypt died. And the children of Israel (Jacob) groaned and sighed because of the bondage and they cried out. And their cry for help because of their bondage ascended to God. So God heard their groaning and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel), and God saw the sons of Israel and took notice (of them) and was concerned for them (knowing all, understanding all, and remembering all.) It was when the children of Israel cried out for help, that God became concerned about their situation. Before they cried out, they remained in slavery and continued to cope. But when they cried out for help, God had a reason to step in. Letting us know that God sees all, knows all and there is nothing that escapes Him. If you want Him to intervene or step in on your case, reach out to Him today and receive your miracle. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

The Lord sees all things and knows all things, but He won’t interfere until you ask Him to.

Confession for the Day

Dear Lord! I thank you because you know all things and you see all things. I thank you because with you nothing can be hidden and nothing can be forgotten. I thank you because you are the all-powerful God and you always come to my rescue when I cry out to you for help. Praise God!
