“…then the Lord said, “I have surely seen the oppression of my people who are in Egypt, and I have surely heard their cry because of their taskmasters. For I know their sorrow…” Exodus 3:7 (NKJV)
One thing that I am always convinced about, is the fact that nothing happens to anyone in this world that misses God’s attention. Nothing you could ever face or suffer or be suffering in life misses the notice of the almighty God. Maybe you feel you are being treated unjustly, do you think God doesn’t know? Maybe you are going through a health condition, do you think it escaped the notice of God? No! A thousand times No! Nothing escapes the notice of God! You might say if nothing escapes the notice of God, why does God allow it? Why is God letting the suffering continue? If God sees and understands my pain, can’t He let it go away? Well, it’s good to know that you feel it’s God’s responsibility to make your pain or trouble go away, but I have news for you. It doesn’t work that way, there are protocols to follow.
Beloved, as much as you would like God to invade your life and just do things on your behalf uninvited, it is important to note that God won’t do anything until you invite Him. It is true that God is aware of your situation, but the question is, is it you that spoke to Him about it? Did you officially table the matter before God? As simple as these questions might sound, they hold the key to the solutions you have been looking for. Let me give you an example: Sometimes, when I hear things about people, I would always want to give them special counsel or guidance but because the matter was not officially brought to me, I am not able to do anything for them even though I know about the situation. Now, because I don’t want them to feel I am encroaching on their privacy, especially since I was not told about it directly, I do not do anything, and the matter remains like that. In the same way, God will not encroach on your privacy, He would not force His counsel on you or forcefully help you unless you invite Him into that situation. So, be encouraged today to invite God into that situation that you are currently facing in your life. In the book of Hebrews 4:16, we have an open invitation that says “…let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need…” Did you see that? When you get God involved, you will always find grace to come out of whatever situation you have found yourself in. Praise God!
Today’s Rhema
Until you invite God into your situation, everything will remain the same, so invite God today and watch things turn around for good!
Confession for the Day
I receive this word today with meekness and faith in my heart and I choose this day to always invite God into any situation that I may find myself and as I do this, I am prevailing in all things and making giant strides in life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
