Among the many things we are supposed to learn as believers is learning to give in the name of Jesus, or giving to others because of Jesus. We are living in a generation today that is very selfish. They don’t want to give to God and they don’t want to give to man. However, the truth remains that, that is not how God wants it to be. God in His infinite mercy wants us to be selfless and generous. He wants us to always extend a helping hand to others, both those who are in the Faith and those who are not. Our Lord Jesus Christ says there is a reward when we do this.
Therefore, I encourage you today to learn the art of giving to those who are in the faith and to others who are not as well. Understand that giving is a law that when engaged in, will always come back to you. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “…give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands—all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you…” Luke 6:38 (GNT). Did you see that? Now, this even gets better when you do it cheerfully. So, what are you waiting for? Be a blessing to someone today and be sure to reap bountiful rewards and you can choose to reap this reward every day by giving every day. Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ said, that the measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you. Halleluiah!

Father, I am grateful for bringing me light in this area, I decree this day that the grace to give selflessly, generously and cheerfully, is granted me in the name of Jesus. Amen!
