…You have done many things for us, O Lord our God; there is no one like you! You have made many wonderful plans for us. I could never speak of them all— their number is so great…” Psalms 40:5 (GNT)

As you journey in your Christian walk, it matters what you are seeing in your life. Sometimes, all some people see are the things that the devil is doing in their lives and they focus on this. When you hear them speak about their lives sometimes, it is as though God is not doing anything. Some time ago, I was discussing with a dear sister, and she was so negative to the point, where I almost asked her, is God doing nothing in your life? Because the complaints were just too much and it was all magnifying what the devil was doing and not what God was doing. In the end, I had to counsel her to see more of what God is doing and not what the devil is doing.

Beloved, if you are going to see more of the acts of God in your life, you must make a conscious decision to see what God is doing. It’s true that there could be some negative activities going on in your life but refuse to acknowledge them. Instead, acknowledge only what God is doing in your life. When you have this attitude, you will watch God do many more glorious things in your life without you having to ask. But you must cultivate that habit of seeing only what God is doing. The Psalmist understood this truth and he said “…May those who attack me be defeated and destroyed. May those who try to hurt me be shamed and disgraced. I will always put my hope in you; I will praise you more and more. I will tell of your goodness; all day long I will speak of your salvation, though it is more than I can understand…” Psalms 71:13‭-‬15 (GNT). Did you see that? He said he will speak of the salvation of the Lord all day long and not the works of the devil. So, learn from this and see what only God is doing. Talk about it all day long and neglect what the devil is doing. I am saying you should ignore it or act as though it doesn’t exist. Oh No, that’s not the point. Speak to those things and command them to be terminated. And then exalt the works of the Lord in your life because if you don’t do it, no one will do it for you. Halleluiah!

Today’s Rhema

Ignore what the devil is doing and speak of only what God is doing!

Confession for the Day

The grace to see only what God is doing is at work in me. I decree therefore that henceforth, I will see only what God is doing and not what the devil is doing and as I do this I prophesy that all that the devil is doing in any area of my life is arrested in Jesus name. Amen!
