“…for He Himself has said,” I will never leave you nor forsake” so we may boldly say…” Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV)

Most times when things don’t go the way they should, all most people do is complain, murmur and wear a long face. But I discovered that none of these things helps the situation, it only makes matters worse and gets them frustrated. However, as a child of God, you have to understand that life is spiritual and if you must succeed, you have to learn to approach life from the spiritual point of view. The world was created through God’s word, the Bible lets us know in Hebrews 11: 3 that “by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Meaning that all that we see today did not come from the things, which do appear, they came from “God’s word”. It was the creating force that brought about the things we see now, that before were not in existence. God spoke out of eternity and everything He said became as He had said and it turned into a reality.

Today, God want us to do the same, He does not want us to panic or develop cold feet in the face of adversity. He expects us to arm ourselves with the weapon of His word and speak to our situations in faith. In the beginning, when the world was without shape and void, darkness covered the face of the deep, God spoke and light swallowed up the darkness. God’s word was a force and darkness could not resist it. In the same way, if you speak to that situation, the force of God’s word coming out of your mouth will get everything settled. It might not be immediate; it might tarry but it will eventually turn things around because you are using the same material that was used in creating the whole world. Therefore, make up your mind to start speaking God’s word over your life, family, job, children and everything that concerns you, it is the required material needed to get an immediate result. Even when Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness, He defeated the devil using God’s word (Matthew 4:1-11). God expects you to do the same in every situation that you find yourself for this is the right thing to do. God bless you!

Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day

Thank you, Father, for giving me the authority to speak your word in times of distress, I hereby declare that henceforth, your word will always be on my lips, I will proclaim it and claim all that belongs to me in the name of Jesus. I prophesy that as I continue to do this, I triumph in all things in Jesus Name. Amen!
