“…and these signs will follow those who believe; in my name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover…” Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)
In the first part of this article, we established the importance of not letting satanic oppression or manipulation continue in your life. We emphasized how it is important that you address any form of satanic manipulation in your life before it gets too late. Now, Someone might say but sir, how do I address the oppression going on in my life, knowing that the devil is cunny and full of evil schemes? Well, it is simple! You need to make a conscious decision to use your authority in Christ Jesus and put a stop to all such oppressions going on in your life and in your family. Something you must understand is that the devil though the devil may be cunny and full of schemes, his schemes, and antics are no match for the authority you have in Christ Jesus. But you must believe this if you are going to come out of whatever oppression you may be going through right now. I know that sometimes, the devil does everything possible to try to scare God’s people and put fear in their hearts. I know that He even goes as far as making God’s people believe that he is so powerful but the truth remains that the devil with all his schemes is not more powerful than Jesus Christ and you are complete in Him (Jesus).
You need to understand that if the devil can’t oppress Jesus because of His finished works, neither should you be oppressed because you are in Christ Jesus. The Bible records that God has “…made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” “…far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come…” Ephesians 2:5-6, 1:21 (NKJV). So if you have been raised together with Christ and made to sit together with Him in heavenly places, it means that in the realm of the spirit, you are far above the devil in every way, and you have the authority in Christ Jesus to put him where he belongs. So I admonish you to refuse all manner of spiritual oppression. Use the name of Jesus, speak with boldness, and cancel the works and activities of the devil in your life. If you would do this for quite a number of days with fasting and prayers, you would keep your life free from all manner of oppressions. Praise God!
TODAY’S RHEMA
How long you have been oppressed is not what matters, what matters is that if you decide to resist the devil now, he will flee from you!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I am complete in Christ Jesus who is the head of all principality and powers, therefore I declare that all manner of demonic oppression currently going on in or against my life and family is hereby canceled and arrested never to resurface in the name of Jesus. Amen!
