“…and these signs will follow those who believe; in my name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover…” Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)

If there is one thing that the devil has been doing consistently in the lives of many people today, is to oppress and manipulate them spiritually. The devil has created such a structure around their lives that gives him access again and again. But you see, as a child of God, when you notice any kind of satanic oppression or manipulation going on in your life, it is your responsibility to reject and attack it with all vehemence. If you do not do this, that oppression will continue, until you make a conscious decision to deliberately put an end to it. The only reason this oppression continues in the lives of people is not because the devil is so powerful but because you have just not given it the attention required to put an end to it.

You must understand that Christianity is not a life of weakness but power, dominion, and authority in Christ Jesus. Therefore, at every point, it is important that you refuse to allow any form of oppression to fester in your life. Most times, when God’s people begin to face some spiritual oppression, they tend to treat the matter lightly and just let it continue, thinking it will soon go away, but the truth remains that the devil is not one to quit unless you resist him deliberately and seriously. Remember, every time you give the devil a chance, he will go the extra mile. So, if you notice any form of spiritual manipulation or machination going on in your life, do not be quiet about it. Attack it with all vehemence using the name of Jesus. Terminate all such oppression and put the devil where He belongs while it is early. The Bible says, “…resist the devil and he will flee from you…” James 4:7 (NKJV). If you don’t resist the devil, he will continue to wreak havoc in your life. Therefore, be encouraged to stand up against any kind of satanic oppression that you notice in your life and you will be amazed how victory will come to you quickly. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

No matter how much the devil tries to oppress you, if you choose to resist him, you will always win!

Confession for the Day

Glorious and ever-living father, I am grateful for this truth you have revealed to me today. I choose this day to resist the devil with everything within me and I declare that every manipulation that has been going on in my life is canceled by the power of God’s Spirit in the name of Jesus. Amen!
