“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” —Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)
Do you know that the greatest limitation in a person’s life is the limitation of the mind? Yes—you heard me right: the limitations of the mind are among the worst things that can happen to anyone. The mind lies behind many of the other limitations people face in life. Often, people are stuck because of how they think, reason, and perceive matters. That mindset must be addressed if you want to win and make progress.
To overcome it, you must renew your mind regularly with God’s Word. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” —Romans 12:2 (NKJV). Only Scripture has the power to reset your mental patterns, break strongholds, and reshape your imagination. It teaches you how God wants you to think and perceive issues.
When you make a habit of renewing your mind with God’s Word, you will begin to see and understand things from a higher perspective. That change in thinking is what breaks the mind’s limitations. So, give yourself wholly to God’s Word—practice it regularly so the mindset of victory and triumph forms within you. Adopt the mindset revealed in Scripture, and the impossibilities that have surrounded you will be shattered. Hallelujah!
