“…for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…” John 3:16 (NKJV)

As believers, we have the responsibility of spreading the good news about salvation to the people in our world. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-19) to reconcile many back to God, but the question is how often do you think about this commission given to us? How often do you sit back to think about how you can become relevant to God in this great commission. Think about the condemnation that already exists in the lives of people who are not in Christ, and let it become your motivation to want to do your part in saving people from this dreadful eternity.

When this dreadful eternity becomes your motivation, living a fulfilled life becomes the other of the day. So I encourage you to not only live for yourself but try to help others escape this horrible damnation that awaits many on the other side of this world by preaching the good news about Jesus’ finished works on the cross of Calvary. You may say but where do I start from? Well, it is simple, start from your present environment right. It could be your home or office or even school, but your immediate environment is the best place to start from because it is written, “…you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth…” Acts 1:8(NKJV). Did you see that? “Jerusalem” here can represent your immediate environment. Start now and begin to do your part in spreading the Gospel.  Praise God!
