“…..Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established….” Proverbs 16:3 NKJV)

One thing is to have goals this year, another thing is to prayerfully take necessary actions. Until you take the required actions nothing will work. Most times, God’s people want to achieve so much in their lives but they are not willing to take necessary steps. They wish for things to happen but they are not motivated enough to take the right actions that will make things happen and this explains the reason why some say things are not working in their lives. But in the real sense, they are not taking action on their goals.

Beloved, if you want to see things move in your favour and in your direction, you must make a conscious decision to take actions. Don’t sit there and hope that things will change, it will not, except you take the required steps. Therefore, as you journey this year, prayerfully pursue your goals and the best way to do that, is to outline the things you want to achieve and take out some days to begin to pray about it.

Now, you might say but is prayer necessary? Oh yes! It is necessary because it is in the place of prayer you begin to get direction and instructions on what steps you need to take and how you need to take it. It is in prayers, you recieve the wisdom required to execute the required actions and it is also in prayers, you receive the grace required to achieve anything you want to achieve. So, I encourage you today to prayerfully pursue your goals. Remember, if you fail to do this, nothing will happen. But if you will take the necessary action, you will certainly achieve unimaginable things this year, for it is written, “….be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded….” Chronicles 15:7 (NKJV)

Today’s Rhema

Until you take action, nothing significant will happen for you!

Confession for the Day

By the power of the Holy Spirit, I decree that the grace to prayerfully pursue my goals is mightily at work in me and as I give myself to prayer, I receive wisdom to take the necessary steps in the name of Jesus. Amen!
