Patience is a form of action

“…rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him…” —Psalms 37:7 (NKJV)

In your walk with God as a Christian, there are certain things you must consider and pay attention to, in order to walk on the path that God wants you to walk on, and one of those things is patience. Beloved, how patient are you in your walk with God? What kind of relationship are you keeping with

God? Is it one of self-ambition and personal gain or one of love for God and kingdom righteousness? This is a very important question you must consider because it helps you to examine the kind of relationship you have with God.

There are lots of people today who are not patient in their walk with God. You find them always willing to quit coming to church, either because somebody offended them or because they feel that God’s word is not working. You find them always complaining about the things they don’t have and the things they have not been able to achieve. You find them blaming God for their miseries and saying things like “God has refused to help me” and all. But the big question is, are you following God for personal gains and gratification or are you following God because you love Him and appreciate all that He is to you? If the reason you are following God is because of your love for Him, you will always find yourself patient in whatever you do with Him and in His vineyard. So, as you journey in your walk with God, I encourage you to be patient with Him, love Him, and let His plans unfold in your life. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

When you are following God because of your love for Him, impatience will not get in the way!

Confession for the Day

By the power of the Holy Spirit, I declare that impatience will not get in the way of my walk with God. At all times, the grace to remain patient with God is at work in me and overtime, the plans and purposes of God are manifesting in my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
