“…and let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some…” Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV)

In the past few years, I’ve heard many people ask questions similar to today’s topic. They say things like, “Whether or not I come to church, I am still blessed and will continue to be blessed.” Now, when they say this kind of thing, they often say it confidently, believing they’re showing wisdom. However, the truth is that they’re speaking from a place of misunderstanding. I know this might not sit well with some religious people, but that’s simply the truth.

Beloved, we don’t attend church simply for blessings or because it’s a human invention. We go to church because it’s God’s idea and a command he gives to us, his children. It’s his way of helping us connect with others in fellowship and grow in our value for the larger body of Christ. The truth is, the body of Christ functions best as a united whole, not as many separate parts.

Therefore, to be effective in your Christian Walk, you need to identify with the body of Christ and fulfill your purpose in Christ Jesus. God doesn’t want us to be isolated or alone, as some prefer. He wants us to be connected because the church is the body of Christ. As a body, we can’t function without each other. We need one another to function properly and access all the revelations and blessings God has made available to us through Christ Jesus.

For this reason, I urge you to make a conscious decision to belong to a church and be dedicated there. Get involved in her activities and render  your service to God there. When you do this, you’ll be amazed at how God’s grace, favor, and blessings will flow easily to you and through you. If you’re already in a church, commit yourself fully – it’s not a waste of time! Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

God does not want you isolated but connected to the body!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this wonderful truth. I choose this day to be dedicated, consistent and committed to the body of Christ and I receive grace to fulfill all that is required of me in the body in the name of Jesus.
