“…then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was…” Mark 2:3-4 (NKJV)

In our walk with God, one of the things we have to consciously do, is to make sacrifices for Him who has called us out of darkness and translated us into His marvelous light. We have not been called to be lazy and neglect important things in the kingdom. God wants us to be up and doing. There is so much that God expects from us today. We have been called to carry out God’s vision here on earth which is to reconcile men back to Him by every means possible (1 Corinthians 5:17).

We have a responsibility to get involved in soul winning, because there are many out there who are perishing. They are on their way to hell but if we will take up our responsibility and try to reach out, we will save them from eternal damnation. So, it is important that we make a conscious decision to play our own role and carry out this ministry which God has given to us in Christ Jesus. Sometimes, you find that most people want to do this from a comfort zone, but it doesn’t work that way. There are times when you will have to make sacrifices to see this happen. You may have to sacrifice your time, your money or even your possessions. The question is when such opportunity presents itself, will you be willing to make sacrifices? Well, you should because this is something that God expects from us as believers. Therefore, as you journey this year, make a conscious decision to make sacrifices for Jesus who died for you. Hallelujah!!

Today’s Rhema

Until we make sacrifices for Jesus, we cannot really carry out the vision of God on the earth!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this wonderful insight. I receive grace today to be able to make the necessary sacrifice that is needed of me and as I make these sacrifices, more men and women are coming to the knowledge of the truth in Jesus name. Amen!
