“…then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart…” Luke 18:1 (NKJV)
Through your journey as a Christian, there are few things you must imbibe if you want to be established and fulfill your calling in Christ Jesus. One of those things is prayer. Beloved, if you truly want to tap into your God-given gifts, callings and potentials, you must make prayer a lifestyle. If will ride above the wiles of the devil and his machinations, prayer must be a lifestyle. If you will be a channel through which souls will be won into the Kingdom, you must make prayer a lifestyle.
Beloved, prayer is one of the spiritual privileges God has given us to become all that He has made for us to become. Sadly, too many people have grown deficient in this area. Many feel lazy to pray, while many others do not pray at all. And those who pray do not pray always. And when challenges arise, they run helter-skelter. Why? Because of the lack of prayers. Beloved, when prayer becomes a lifestyle, you will pray yourself out of any situation. You will not give in to disappointments and the pressures that come with the challenges of life.
So, I encourage you today to make prayer a lifestyle, and the best way to do that is to pray at all times. You pray when you feel like it and when you don’t feel like it. You pray wherever you are because you understand that, “…that men ought always to pray and not lose heart…” Luke 18:1 (NKJV). Hallelujah!
