“…love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.”1 Corinthians 13:6 (GNT)

In today’s world, moral lines have become increasingly blurred. Society often celebrates what God has clearly defined as wrong while condemning what He has declared good. This alarming shift reveals the deep spiritual decay present in the world today, with many blinded by the god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4).

However, as believers, we are called to a higher standard. God’s love is distinct and uncompromising—it “is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.” To walk in God’s love means to reject evil in all its forms and to rejoice in truth. Love doesn’t justify or excuse wrongdoing; instead, it stands firm in alignment with God’s Word, even when it goes against societal norms.

Your role as a follower of Christ is not to blend in with the world but to remain set apart. While the world may normalize or glorify certain evils, you are called to uphold God’s standard. Jesus said, “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:16). This means that even when something seems appealing or widely accepted, if it contradicts God’s truth, you must stand your ground.

Refusing to condone or celebrate evil is an act of love—both for God and for those around you. By living this way, you shine as a beacon of truth in a darkened world, demonstrating the transformative power of His love. Halleluiah!

Today’s Rhema

Do not join the world in celebrating what is evil, for you are not of this world!

Confession for the Day

Father, I thank You for Your truth and for Your love working in my heart. I refuse to celebrate or condone evil. I choose to stand by what is true and good, and as I do, I grow in my walk of love. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
